i'm accomplished!

today i feel really really accomplished! i just installed the brandest new tagboard AND i even know how to add links! yeah tell me i'm a genius!!! and i don't feel so dumb about not being able to change my blogskin anymore cos even germaine can't do it! so i'm not dumb yeah mann germaine you made my day!

kelly clarkson totally rocks right? if you don't like her you've got to be the world's biggest loser.

anw let me tell you wat i did today. first i searched for chords for the song far away by nickelback. it's niiiice and it's a lot easier than i thought! thanx TU for posting the lesson on how to read tabs on the guit blog. now that i actually decided to go read wat was in there i found out tu's a really good teacher. yeah man i just feel more accomplished!

oh but wait!

after trying to learn that i decided to look at the song i promised to teach choonfah on monday. at first i thought it was quite simple. the chords seemed quite play-able. then i opened the page properly and listened to song again. THEN I REALISED THAT IT'S NOT STRUMMING IT'S PLUCKING!! ARRGHHH!!! i mean seriously choonfah why the hell do you like such difficult songs. it's like SIX pages of tabs (3/4 of the thing is just repetition but never mind that)

and i spent the whole afternoon trying to figure it out. n i think i got the first part but it sounds funny... hopefully he will mysteriously forget it on monday. but song's damn nice! i wanna be able to play it!!! so much for feeling accomplished...

except for going through the worksheets and memorising all those funny phrases and learning all the gazillion meanings of words and practicing the sentence transformation and going through the old comprehension book and..
